Gosh, what an action packed week it has been!

But first, here is this week's movie reel.

It is a short 50-second little video about a painting I made of Rhododendron and the American Goldfinch, the state flower and bird of Washington. I created this painting for the 2016 Northwest Flower and Garden show that opens next week, February 17-21, Washington State Convention Center, Seattle.

Speaking of the Northwest Flower and Garden Show, it is NEXT WEEK! Egads! What did I get myself into? Everything is still sinking in. It is all a bit surreal. Where is the panic button? I am still feeling calm and under control. This is a huge undertaking on my part, something I have never done before. Beginner's Mind?

Here is a partial list of accomplishments in the past few days alone!

Approved final design of commemorative poster, show banner, and other print items featuring my painting of "Rhododendron and American Goldfinch."
Received first batch of prints (500.) Now I need to sign, date, and write the tile of the painting on each one.
Signing original paintings: 8x8", 4x4."
Cut 300 windows in mats to-date for signed prints. I will be doing this for the next several days, as I will have hundreds of prints for sale (remember, audience = 50,000 - 60,000.)!
The fashion totes are here! 3 attractive and colorful designs! I am already sporting them and they are great!
My book of the "100 Days 100 Paintings" arrived.
Ordered a wood stamp for my gift bags. People will be sporting kraft paper brown shopping bags with "Mary Lamery, Artist" printed in grey ink, lined with a soft pink tissue.

"Go Big or Go Home", I say! There is no turning back. We are not in Kansas anymore.

Voila! Le Table! I will have two of these in my booth for displaying product available for sale. I will also have custom-made easels that match the tables for display fixtures.

I will make kitchen towels using my Grandmother Edythe's Singer sewing machine of fabric (cotton/linen) made from my "cherries" painting.

Mary Lamery is a lifelong resident and native of the Pacific Northwest. Lamery paints regional landscape in a manner that leans towards 19th century French Impressionism.
